Designed for the long haul, the K2 Waive snowboard boot is built for those long days in the skin track.
K2 have packed the Waive full of the best split-specific features - and it starts at the sole. Our vibration-damping Harshmellow™ material is wrapped in a full Vibram® V5 outsole - durable, lightweight, and grippy. A crampon-compatible heel stabilizer helps keep your heel aligned on the walk up and gives the descent extra security. We've modified our trademark Endo™ Construction heel counter to allow the K2 Waive Snowboard boot to have a designated walk mode. By releasing the BOA® dial, it will enable the calf panel of the boot to open, giving you the ability for a longer stride in the skin track but all the stability in the world that you need for the ride down.
A traditional lace, exterior Power Strap, and lace cover keeps you secure and keeps the snow out. It goes without saying, but the magic starts from the inside, our Intuition® Pro Foam Liner with Spaceheater™ is warm, comfortable, and heat moldable. A comfortable and customizable Conda™ heel retention device keeps your foot position comfortable and removes the stress of heel lift when the terrain gets a bit spicy.

Intuition® Pro Foam 3D Liner with SpaceHeater™ – A liner designed for comfort and warmth, from start to finish. It features reflective heat blanket panels that work to trap heat in and keep cold out. These reflective heat blankets work alongside heat moldable Intuition® foam, internal J-Bars, and 3D molded dual-density EVA insoles to keep your foot comfortable and warm all day long.
LACING
Traditional Lacing with Synthetic Lace Cover – No wires, reels, or pulls needed. Braided textile laces offer a tried and true feel and customizable fit.
Walk Mode Powered by H4 Boa® Coiler – A cable and reel based lacing system that creates even tension and easy lacing operation. This system features low friction guides for even tightening. Boa® works to automatically retract lace slack so your boots stay nice and neat.

Harshmellow™ – Harshmellow™ is a magical dampening system that replaces industry standard foam dampening materials. Harshmellow™ is strategically placed to dampen vibration underfoot to provide for a more “quiet” feel underfoot, reduce vibration from impact, and reduce fatigue while snowboarding.

Rubber Reinforced Toe Cap – Abrasion resistant reinforced outsole rubber is placed in areas of high stress to extend the life of the boot and increase durability.
Endo™ 2.0 Heel Counter – A K2 Snowboarding exclusive, Endo™ Construction allows the flex, response, and rebound of a snowboard boot to be altered without adding extra materials (extra materials = extra weight). By replacing additional materials with an injected heel-counter, adding extra rebound is as easy as a formula change and helps to provide a more consistent flexing, longer-lasting snowboard boot.
S’Cafe™ Coffee Mesh – With functionality and sustainability in mind, K2 coffee mesh is made from recycled post-consumer coffee grounds that is combined with post consumer recycled polyester. This mesh enhances odor control and moisture management of our standard lining mesh and is made from 95% recycled material with no added chemicals.
